DoraHacks aims to provide an inclusive and welcoming hacking environment for all participants. Any physical and verbal harassments are strictly prohibited throughout the event. Harassment includes all behaviors of an offensive nature. We have zero tolerance for any disturbing or threatening comments or actions related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical appearance, age, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, etc. Sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, photography/recording against one’s consent will not be tolerated.

Photography is encouraged during the hackathon. We respect as well as ask all participants to respect everyone’s will of the use of his/her public images. If anyone objects to the taking of his/her photograph, comply with his/her request. It is inappropriate to photograph/record in contexts where people have a reasonable expectation of privacy (in bathrooms, sleeping areas, etc). Hacks created at this hackathon are equally subject to follow our anti-harassment expectation. Sponsors and partners are also subject to the anti-harassment policy.

If you are being harassed, or notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact any hackathon staff immediately or reach us via hi@dorahacks.com.

DoraHacks staffs will be more than happy to assist participants to contact any local security or local law enforcement, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the hackathon. We value your attendance and participation.

Participants who are asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. If not complying, DoraHacks has the right to take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender, immediate expulsion from the hackathon, or reporting to local law enforcement.

Plagiarism of any form is restricted prohibited prior and throughout the hackathon. Once discovered, participant will be immediately disqualified from further participating in the hackathon.

We expect all participants to follow these rules at our hackathon and on any hackathon-related social media platforms, and wish you all have an amazing experience.
